"The water," spoke Shen with a nod to the rippling pool and the toppling water from above. She stepped over to the tiny stream cascading down to join the large river far below. "It makes a plesant noise... and many deer have found it to be safe haven against predators. I enjoy watching them as well." Kneeling and wrapping the bushy tail protruding from her hindquarters around her paws, she dipped one dark hand into the clear liquid, feeling the chill as the water saturated her glove.
