((McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is a real university... It has Gothic architecture... You can look up more about it on the web. However, as I have not visited, I do not know the campus in and out and I am allowing a certain amount of flexibility in the way of layout.))
The clouds roiled overhead as students hurried from class to class at the McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It threatened to be a very bad day, indeed, with winter fast approaching.
Fay wondered why she had decided to not only go to another country but one that had loads of snow during the dark half of the year... and on top of that, she was not very good at French. Bundled in her parka and insulated thoroughly in silk leggings under her jeans, she remembered why... Scholarship. This was a huge opportunity for her. An ability to go to not only a prestigious school... but to another country. Her entire life, she had lived in the United States, below the Mason Dixion Line. This was her chance...
And with that, the Mississippi girl tromped to find a quiet room to not only get warm, but to get some studying in.
Zach sat with his back pressed against the cold stone wall, jamming to his tunes as the sky lowered outside the window. He was in one of the study rooms on campus, reading the material he had to read for his literature class. Unfortunately, he was not a very good reader, so he was accomplishing little. And he really didn't care. Nearby him was a large armiore, carved and immense... He didn't pay much attention to it as it was only used to store coats of those that came in here and was otherwise very rarely used.
I am a female. Therefore please use 'she'.
