"I feel the mortals growing restless on Quesaria," Lunae softly spoke. The two-toned creature, neither of the light nor the dark, stepped towards similar creatures gathered around her. Her body was draped in a silver silk that bore the symbol of the Sentinels, and the white tattoos on her unnatural, pitch-black skin seem to swirl around her form like a living liquid. "The time of war is about to be at hand, Sentinels." She had no eyes, but they could all feel the weight of her gaze bearing down upon them.
"You understand that you must not.. no, you WILL NOT, meddle in the affairs of the mortal world..." She paused, clenching the crescent staff tight in her hands. "Unless the universe itself succumbs to risk of falling apart."
The Sentinels muttered uncomfortably. One stepped forward, and he twisted his bladed arms in disgust. His entire body, except for his cold, grey eyes, were covered in a dark cloth that resembled a samurai kimono. Three red orbs swirled around his angelic and demonic wings. The high ranked Sentinel of Illusions, Fakir, spoke up. "Do you think this war will be that powerful?"
Lunae looked out into Quesaria, and sighed heavily. "The mortals are preparing as we speak, and the rest of this world must choose their sides. Families, friends, and allies shall be torn between the decisions they make. I know not how many shall join the forces of the Zephyr, Leader of the Corrupt, nor do I know how many shall join Fenrir, Leader of the Divine."
As the other Sentinels began to mutter again, Lunae slammed the bottom of her staff hard to the ground to gain order. "It is our job as Sentinels, the Balance Seekers, to prevent this universe, and the worlds that inhabit it, from falling apart," she yelled. "Unless I say so, again, do not interfere with this war."
Dismissing the Sentinels, she walked to the balcony of her throne room, and sighed. "Now we shall stand guard, and wait. May our universe stay preserved."
