Aww. -hugs- I remember that when I dislocated and broke my shoulder, there were some complications due to some circumstances and they had to break the bone back open after few days of healing to put it back together and all I gathered was that they're gonna break my shoulder again and I started screaming REALLLY loud for my mom, not letting anyone give me anesthesia. @o@;; -was 5 at that time- Sheesh, was she angry. But I think that;s only time I have cried or screamed at the doctors.
In your case, it was so understandable to want her to be with you. >:
