[Rosekitten]

This morning i had sound on my computer, mind you we were gone for a few hours over the course of the day, when i returned home the sound had stopped working. I've tried resetting it, tried the hook up on the front of my pc seeing as my headphones are hooked into my keyboard.. i get a sort of white noise or static sound from my headphones.. the headphones work we tried it on the other pc in the house so they do work

so far the only sound i was able to hear was when i shut down windows the noise on the blue screen right before it shuts down fully

im running windows xp, Asus mother board (so the sound cards built into it)

I did two different sound tests they checked out that the card was working but i still couldn't hear sound at all.
