I might have misunderstood you,and sorry if I did, but just because you live in a small town, doesn't mean you don't want to travel?
I even went to New York and found the city pretty awesome... but still I just like the peace and quietness of small towns.
Actually I myself love to travel as well, and living in a small town doesn't stop me doing that at all (not having a driving licence and not having money is what holds me a bit back, but it doesn't entirely stop me)
