also speaking of fabrics: if you have a Michaels near you, and even if it does or does not sell fabric, either go to michaels.com or call 1-800-MICHAEL, and tell them they need to fill in the gap now that JoAnn's is closing, and to have more fabric and notions, and yarn items, cross stitch, general crafting items; anything that Joann's sells - tell Michaels that they need to start carrying more of it and more of a variety - and especially if your Michaels is a smaller one let them know where you are so they know which stores need more stuff.

i don't know if it'll work, but it's worth a try.

(and while I do work at Michaels, they didn't pay me to say that.)
