Jester: Weeeeellll, so my cape is less of a traditional cape/cloak style and more elegant fantasy style. As in...it's some chains and scalemail pauldrons with a rectangle of chiffon attached.
As far as regular cloaks go...I've never made one, so the only real tips I'd have would be to take your time and to make sure you have the right needle type for the fabric you're working with.

Gotta shorten my chains and maybe see about pinning the pauldrons to my shirt if that doesn't fix the slipping issue.

Have officially received confirmation that costumes are a go for work tomorrow. Gotta haul ass on finishing everything. And try some make-up tonight, though if I can't figure it out (because I literally never wear makeup so I don't know what I'm doing tbh), I'll probably skip it for the costume.
