I was gonna re-wrap the sisal scratching posts an my cat tower only to discover that my staple gun is too wimpy. So about half the poles are just bare cardboard tubes now. XP
Cheapest option: buy upholstery nails and pray they hold.
Best option: invest in heavy-duty staple gun because re-wrapping is cheaper than buying a new tower.
In other crafting news, I did math and realized my temperature blanket was probably only gonna come out to be around 4 feet long at most so I'm doing 2 rows per day instead of the traditional 1 because I like my blankets to be huge. And also my initial yarn order arrived and I realized I was gonna have to modify my teal/green colors because the ine color was too blue and I didn't have a good lightest shade. So I went more on the green side for the lighter shades but the lightest green is the wrong yarn weight...and I need it for day 2 on the blanket so I'll be at a standstill after I finish the day 1 rows.
And also decided to over-do it and am using a large herringbone stitch pattern for my blanket. Because why be normal when I can be overly complicated? Lol
