Woohoo! I did the adult thing and actually called to schedule an eye exam!
Unfortunately nothing was open until the endnof the month, but I still scheduled for a late afternoon appointment and just have to remember to request that day off from Joann because it's a day I'd normally be working there.
New glasses just in time for the new year!
