I hate when bosses try to make it sound like I'm not doing my job by saying stuff like "a bobby pin was left on the stairs for a week" or "I spilled coffed on the landing and it didn't get mopped up for 5 days".
Like....okay but you do realize that you can just pick up a bobby pin right? It takes all of 2 seconds. And that coffee? No one told me there was a spill and I don't always go up and down both stairwells. In fact, I almost always just use the back stairwell because it's least disruptive to people. So if you didn't send an email or let someone know, how am I supposed to know I need to get it? Also you go up and down that stairwell several times a day so would ot be that hard to just grab a damp towel from the kitchen (because I know you go through there many times per day too) and quickly wipe it? I am not your gd maid. Stop being so lazy or send me a message at least.

((I mean yeah, technically I didn't do my job well to have missed that stuff, but my point is that just because I am the janitor doesn't mean everyone else can't pitch in just a minuscule amount to help keep the place clean or to alert me to spots that need touched up.))
