Sorry galla I'm still dumb, what's the difference between bumping and necroposting? my mind has appeared to conflated the two.

Like I get that necroposting is when a post hasn't had activity in quite some time, but I always thought it was just bumping of a dead thread, whereas bumping is attempting to bring attention to any thread. is the difference here that it needs to be a meaningful contribution as opposed to solely *bump*?
