@mdom
There is a free, free path. You just haven't found it yet. As you stare back into the maze from the entrance, you realize once more you can pick between the regular straight, left, and hack'n'slash with a machete to carve your own path.
Go straight, or go left?
(also in case there's doubt: I do take note which side you're facing when you walk, so whenever you move back to the entrance instead of forward, your directions are flipped)
@Major
The random corn stalk turns out pretty sturdy and is giving you a slight headache. Barely recalling what you learned years ago in biology class, you start to suspect this is no normal corn maze. Oh. Oh! Maybe it means you entered a parallel universe in which consuming a half eaten candy corn gives you superpowers! You try to walk through a wall, but it fails. Then you attempt to fly, but only manage to reach your average jumping height. Ah well, it was worth a try.
You wander on and follow the straight path over a few serpentine twists and turns until another path forks off to your right.
Continue straight ahead, or go right?
@Merskelly
You decide to ignore the new path and continue straight ahead. After a while your chosen path leads you to the right, then around another corner. You notice a middle aged maths teacher and Den both entangled in corn leaves, while KittyBeary - who must have reached this dead end just a few moments before you - still ponders what to do next.
Help the maths teacher, help Den, free both, or no one?
