I just noticed how similar the story of the Gelflings is with the narrative of ethnic/religious and LGBT minorities are with the way the world is going now.

It wouldn't upset me as much as it does if she did the same for me. Oftentimes, I'll sit and listen to her talk about nothing for a good 30 minutes to an hour... But when *I* want to talk, she's always like, "Ava, nobody has time for this."
