Really, your goal is to stand out from the other candidates. Every candidate has a GPA.
That usually means they don't actually care THAT much. They mostly care that it's good enough to show that you took your studies seriously enough to succeed. It's a sign of diligence. You don't want to be seen as sloppy or lazy or uneducated; that's the kind of bad mark that doesn't say good things about you. But the difference between a 3.2 and a 3.7 really isn't very significant in terms of the impact it has on recruiters.
