I used to visit the bay area when I used to tag along with my dad on fishing trips off the coast of long beach towards Catalina. :] You ever had Sculpin before? :] or maybe Pacific Whitefish? We used to eat what we caught and what was legal size, and not restricted because they were sometimes reported to have too much mercury in them to be safe to consume.
