Shaky hands are a good reason to work in vector graphics. (Or use a heavily-smoothed brush tool and lots of undo commands.)

Actually, I encourage all artists to try working in vector graphics for a while. It's a different way of thinking about making art, and it's the best way to get clean, even lines.
