No lies. She, as always, asked if I had a boyfriend yet. And I said no. And my dad chipped in with "no boyfriend, but she has a good boy who is a friend" commentary. And she proceeded to not subtly at all "hint" that my mom had a good boy who was a friend first. *wink wink*
Like no, grandma. Even if I wasn't ace/aro (which they don't know because...I don't feel like being judged more than I already am by family), I am too unwilling to compromise to ever want a boyfriend. So stop already.
