I'm not understanding how stats are determined in Go when they're not shown.

Once I'm done having to wrack up raid battles for this mission, I'll only bother with the pokemon I want.
I've only ever entered one raid that wasn't empty (the Alolan Raichu) and my strongest pokemon are terrible battlers. '-_-. I'm fortunate to even win a gym battle.
