Gift do not contribute to the number of items you're carrying and you can carry up to 10 of them.

And I like to HOARD the gifts. I WANT AN ALOLAN EGG FROM WHERE YOU ARE FROM!

So far away....so many miles if I trade the pokemon from the eggu!

(But I only have my infinite egg incubator and it has an egg in it)
