Mom tried to get me to walk to my dad's Job

My mom's car has a leak in it, so she told me to go to my dad's job to get his car keys and bring the bring them to her. She needs my dad's car to go places, and me bringing the keys to her wouldn't have helped because my dad's car would still be at my dad's job. My mom had to go walking to get them.
