Today's daily awesome for me: after an absolute shit night and morning (see daily awful), an old friend took me out to breakfast to keep me off the ledge, as it were. I legitimately had an awesome time and finally kept my 3 or 4 year old promise to myself to go to AA, thanks to her. It was a good group, and I honestly think I'll go again. Everyone was so kind and understanding. Half the group hugged me after telling a bit of my story, all of them gave me their numbers. I'm honestly overwhelmed right now by all the support. I've spent all my life having to deal with everything alone, and it feels... good.
