yesterday my cats wanted to go out, and there's still snow out there. i told them it was cold and snowy, but i still let them out, and they both gingerly trotted across the snow, Blackie all the way across the yard to our shed to use the "outside litter box" (aka the yard. LOL)

but only a few minutes later they were both clamoring to come back in. Max had only gotten as far as the back deck, and since it's up against the house, he really hadn't gone very far.
