My old high school had a bit of a hill and when it iced over it was something of a trial to get up. It wasn't that steep, but given this area rarely gets ice and snow to a great degree, it wasn't something people were used to.

Gotta learn how to ice shuffle. ;). You look a little like a penguin but it works.
