Yeah, I have cold urticaria, which means my skin is basically allergic to the cold. Sometimes it kicks in, sometimes it doesn't. Never happened before I went to Pittsburgh for college, but once it did start, I could get itchy raised patches on my skin just from working out (and hence being sweaty aka wet) in 50F.
It. Kinda. Really. Blows.
It's even worse for me, considering my usual wardrobe preferences (aka t-shirt in the snow). I've taken to armwarmers and gloves not just as a fashion statement, but also to not have my fingers painfully immobile the second I walk into a warm building on a cold winter day.
