After the lecture was out and everyone was safely away from the seats, our professor grabbed a friggin bucket of liquid nitrogen and just tossed the contents over the front two rows. It made a very satisfying *WHOOMP* sound.

I think he might have inadvertently destroyed the fiber of the immediately-impacted seats, though, because when I pushed on the cushioning, they kind of....crackled.
