Default The Musings of an Esthetician   #1
So here I am just minding my business on the clinic floor today, when I got my first client of the day. Nice lady. Looking for a lip and chin wax, as well as her nose. Also she decided on a paraffin treatment for her hands, because I kinda recommended it for relaxation as she seemed stressed (And I was aiming to upsell tofay a tiny bit.) The hand treatment went spectacularly. She loved the sugar scrub for her hands, and she melted when the paraffin treatment had begun. It was once we got to her face for waxing that things got lit lmao.

She had legit no eyebrows, but still insisted on me waxing, despite protests from me. I eventually had to talk to my instructor and bring her in to try and help convince her that it was unneeded, but to no avail. With little choice left, we made her sign a waiver, and I got to work waxing, well, skin. Not that its a huge deal. Hard wax, which is used for the face doesn't do any damage to the layers of skin, save for some redness if you pull the wrong way. All in all, got her face waxed and such. Her nose looked pristine and her lips and chin were smoother than a slab of polished marble.

Once we got her to the counter to pay she threw a hissyfit saying I waxed her eyebrows off.

People are really bizarre sometimes.
