Ae Dil Hai Mushkil
It didn't blow up the box office nor impress the critics, but I thought it was brilliant.
It's a commentary on melodrama, a meta-melodrama if you will,
and half its dialogue and content are references to old Bollywood melodramas. The cancer dropped at the end is the ultimate spoof, along with the over-the-top acting. And I really liked the end, with the friendship endured; it was a welcome deviance from the typical Bollywood trope of boy falls in love with girl, girl doesn't feel the same way,
but he won't let up nor take no for an answer, and the script forces her to love him suddenly, much to my chagrin.
I think a lot of thought was put into this film, and I appreciate it all,
even the cringey stuff, especially now I talked to my professor about it (I don't know enough Bollywood to recognise the layers and references)
and know that the cringey stuff is spoof.
 Buying Runes.
PM if you're selling?
