I know what you mean, Glitch. Nevertheless I think even if the items weren't directly linked to staff, it sounds awesome if an event has a couple of items you can earn by solving various tasks.

eg. write a poem for item 1, solve a riddle for item 2, draw something specific for item 3, create a real life craft for item 4, record a song for item 5, and so on

But to make my post slightly on topic, I'm also interested in turtle items. Maybe a giant turtle for our avatar to ride on?
