I vote for the pile of books. Can never have enough of them! Maybe even a library background, if backgrounds are eligible for the event. And a secret lab background for all our mad scientist mischief.

Also, I still want to carry the world around. Or maybe for the avid traveler a globe standing next to the avatar, both in antique and modern colors.

Staff items with individual tasks for earning each one sounds like a fun idea as well. You should definitely incorporate that in an event, be it this one or another *nods* (albeit I'd prefer something other than butts)
