Generally, depending on where the pain is in my head, I have a fair idea of what's causing a headache, and it varies from posture, tension, dehydration, stress, and diet. I get nasty headaches from synthetic vitamin B, and from something that I guess is MSG or similar because Miso could can give me the same nasty headache if I get it from particular restaurants, and it will arrive within 20 minutes.

I get 'em on one side of my head, generally the right, and it feels like someone's pushing an ice pick into my head. and then they tend to settle behind my right eyebrow, and my right temple. Bright light hurts, sound hurts, and I just want to hide and cry. when they get to that point, the only thing that really helps is napping in the basement with all the lights off, under a sorta-heavy blanket. I literally can't be upright for more than a few minutes when they get really bad. Ibuprofen is also a big help.
I use She/Her and They/Them pronouns.
