Depends on how bad they get. I'd say I'm handicapped when I have a migraine as I'm prone on the couch and unable to so much as turn my head without increasing pain. Those are largely gone now, with the physio I've been doing.

Generally, depending on where the pain is in my head, I have a fair idea of what's causing a headache, and it varies from posture, tension, dehydration, stress, and diet. I get nasty headaches from synthetic vitamin B, and from something that I guess is MSG or similar because Miso could can give me the same nasty headache if I get it from particular restaurants, and it will arrive within 20 minutes.
