My first job was a cashier at a small drug store. I was in high school at the time and, honestly it was my favorite job ever. It was in a small town so everyone was really nice and we didn't have any barcode scanners so we had to ring everything up by hand.
My favorite was getting to check in products and use the sticker gun thing to put the price stickers on items.
And my co-workers bought me presents for my 18th birthday because they were so happy that I was old enough to sell beer so I didn't have to call them up to check for the beer sales.
I had that job for 2 years. Wish I could find another one I like as much.
