We're all mad here.

I've had a number of health problems but I did have some help from various resources, and my parents and I had a "split the bill" deal when it came to school (the first time around). I have a degree in English Literature. Took me a bit because my high school completion was delayed because of health. There's a story there.

I tried to go for a technical writing certificate because English is pretty useless, but that's when I started having IBS issues that later turned nasty. Story there, too.

I eventually decided on Library tech, which is a diploma program, so not completely librarian stuff but the stuff that I figure I would actually do. I'm doing it part time, and since a lot of the material is online I can work on it on my own terms. I'm not always good about managing my school work but I get there.

I've been working on my physical health more lately, which is helping things somewhat. I have the bonus of being able to live with family though. I live with my older sister on a farm and help out around the place when I can. I take care of my own food and chores and such.

My specialists and doctors and such are all an hour plus away. I live in a rural area so not dangerous but remote at times. I consider myself a veteran of health issues though, so I can manage most of it from my arsenal of stuff at home. I only go to a clinic/hospital outside of my regular specialist appointments if I absolutely have to.
