at the beginning of the year, when you bring home all the papers and stuff from your teachers, and the emergency cards your parents have to fill out and all that.... there'd be a page with all the emergency numbers for your actual school. then when there was a snow day, you'd have to remember what they were... or at least where you put the paper with the numbers on it.

it got a lot better once they also started saying school disticts as well.
