@hyjin are 8k and 10k the attack numbers that you see on your teams screen (like when you go to edit them)? I honestly don't look at those very much xD My teams have different numbers of row awakenings, TPAs, and orb enhance awakenings, not to mention all the different leader skills, so looking at just the total main attribute attack values is pretty terrible for estimating damage output. On top of that, there's also the playstyle to consider; some are hard for me while others are very easy for me.

That being said, a Red Odin team sounds pretty good. All that HP -drools- plus nice attack, and Red Odin is unbindable! (in the only uvo that NA currently has)

Usually, when I want to upgrade my teams and when I want to temporarily switch someone in for a particular dungeon, I look at my four current subs, decide who the weakest link is or who I can do without, and then swap them out. I usually do this one monster at a time.

I do consider stats, but I don't put a lot of weight to them. Awakenings and active skills are more important, along with whatever other things are needed for the leader skill of the team I'm looking at.

e.g. If my leader needs to attack with all 5 colors (no heart) to activate, then I'll look at color coverage, and I probably am not going to use any orb changers other than heartbreakers (and 5- or 6-color board changers, if you consider those as orb changers)

e.g. If my leader skill is 3.5x attack for water and 2x RCV for earth, I can't tank (no HP multiplier!), so I'll prioritize water attributes over earth attributes so that I can attack, and a water monster who is also earth is just a bonus.

I'll do all of this if I want to completely change a team, too, except I'll be aiming to switch out more than just one sub.

I'll do all of this if I want to make a new team, too. Just have to find a set of monsters that fit the leader skill, and then I can go about fine-tuning from there.
