I actually am mulling over a new website design. I've got a general visual language already worked out, and the way I'll be piecing things together should make a big difference for mobile users. (The new front page is influenced by the new design, but it's built to stay true to the old one.) But in the grand scheme of things it's less important than a LOT of other things I need to do for the site, so I haven't spent any time on it lately and it's not currently on the list of priorities at all. It's definitely not going to happen before summer 2017 because that's how long our current list of stuff is going to take.
