Mom likes them. I liked the first trilogy^3.
Xanth started out like Discworld, but has had ups and downs. There is some frustration on the Author's part because he would like to do more than just Xanth, but he keeps in good spirit with the books.

...It has the demons (see: Planets/worlds) playing literal dice with the universe. The names of the demons are equations. X(A/N)^th, the source of magic, is dead last because no one believes he exists.
