Getting in, Rune headed for the kitchen first, the meal he was planning on making took a little more time that what he'd made the night before. Really, he should have gotten it started in the slow cooker that morning, but he hadn't wanted to be anywhere near his dad after last night.

He grabbed the leftover chicken from two nights ago, removing the skin and ripping meat from the bones, tossing it into a pot to make soup, along with some celery, carrots, potatoes and onions. He turned the stove on, to heat everything, then headed upstairs to get started on his homework.
