Is anyone other Sparx and myself watching this?
Yūri Katsuki carried all of Japan's hopes on his shoulders to win at the Gran Prix Finale ice skating competition, but suffered a crushing defeat. He returns home to Kyushu and half feels like he wants to retire, and half feels like he wants to continue ice skating. Suddenly the five-time consecutive world championship ice skater Victor Nikiforov appears before him with Yuri Plisetsky, a young Russian figure skater who is already defeating his seniors. Victor and both Yuris take up the challenge on an unprecedented Gran Prix series. - ANN
The show beautifully portrays figure skating, and it's been told that none of it is CGI. Competitive Figure Skaters have been known to comment about the anime over twitter, saying how real it seemed and how well the sport is portrayed.
Arguments are flying across the internet on whether or not Victor and Yuri are a canon couple or not.
What is your opinion of this anime? The characters? The story? The possible romance?
Funimation is dubbing the anime. Dubs are released every monday and are about 3 episodes behind Crunchy's simulcast.
