If Kellan looked closely, he'd notice the uncertainty in his brothers eyes. Jei didn't know what to think, or feel now. His brother wanting to run away... Was it really just from the responsibility that came with being the eldest son? Or was there more to it? Perhaps, Jei thought, he just wanted to get away from him, with his clinginess and neediness, and night-terrors that kept him crawling into bed with Kellan at such an inappropriate age.
