I had to look up the exact difference to see for myself =O
Typhoons are the same as hurricanes, and monsoons are just when it brings torrential rain for a long period of time.
So you are right with us having mansoons XD Apparently "They are called hurricanes in the Atlantic, eastern and southwest Pacific and Caribbean"
" typhoons in the northwest Pacific; and cyclones in the Indian Ocean"
I learned stuff today =D
