For Devonian, think Dagon in Lovecraft...it's the "Age of Fish"...

...I want to design a few avatars based on a mix of ancient machines and extinct pre-Cenozoic creatures. (Cenozoic is stuff after dinosaurs...Paleozoic is stuff before dinosaurs, and includes all the cool fishies and bugs and crabs and trilobites)
