Law, I think in that case, it's more like the desensitization is being handled in an appropriate way.

I don't think it's bad to desensitize kids to a certain level when it comes to gore and sex. Obviously they shouldn't be watching porn and snuff films, but there's nothing wrong with them being at a level where they can understand and talk about sex, or be able to handle being around mild-moderately injured people if it's necessary. Even if they're a tiny lil brat at 4. It's sort of like teaching kids the correct terms for their own anatomy instead of the babied up versions people like to use, because, god forbid, it might be necessary for them to talk about it even at a young age.

I dunno. I was desensitized to a lot of gross hospital stuff.

Kiddos shouldn't be watchin nasty horror movies doe.
