Disclaimer: I copy-pasted this from something that I typed for a group chat lol
Most of this information can also be found in-game. Unfortunately, it's kinda hidden. Options > Help (you can find all of the post-dungeon tips here!) > Useful Info
SKILL TRANSFER INFO
(Related terms are, to my knowledge, unofficial except for "Skill Transfer".
The official in-game term for "donor" is "assistant" or "assist monster", actually lol and for "recipient", it's "base monster")
There are no requirements for the monster RECIPIENT other than having any active skill.
There are requirements for the monster DONOR.
If a monster is ELIGIBLE to be a donor, then the monster will have a gold star (on a gold background) in place of the yellow star (on a green background) that usually appears for a fully awoken monster.
(Last time I checked, there is no indication of which monsters have actually received a second skill unless you go to that monster's info or unless you are in a dungeon.)
For a monster to be eligible to be a DONOR, the following must ALL be true of the monster:
> Rare Egg Machine only (including collab REMs)
> Current stage 5* or higher (regardless of the rarity of the base stage)
> Fully awoken (no latents needed)
> Max level (lv.99 to be specific -> means that the monster must be in either its final normal evo or an ultimate evo)
Technically, neither the donor nor the recipient need to be skilled. HOWEVER, the cooldown of the DONATED skill will be (original skill's CD) + (donated skill's CD).
Both monsters can still be skilled up via Power-Up Fusion. (And, while you probably won't be interested in doing this for a donor, I'm guessing that you can do anything via Power-Up Fusion and Evolution/Ultimate Evolution to the donor.) However, the DONOR monster cannot be used in teams.
