It depends on how creative a person is, not their wallet size.
Glad to learn that.

For good or bad, I'm a very visual person and it's hard for me to imagine what something looks like without it being on an avi. To truly grasp how items will look together means I need to see them together on an avi. (This could be a function of unfamiliarity with the items and site, or it might be the way I'm wired, however I can't believe I'm the only one like this.) I've seen DK's old item guide, but it only shows a small amount of the items here. As far as old announcements, I've looked through those, but they don't show all of the items on an avi.

Plus, nothing that I've seen here so far shows what an item will look like on my avi unless I've purchased it, which is a drawback for someone who wants to see something first.

It would be great to learn that I've missed something, so please direct me to areas that will help with this. Thanks!

The upkeep is about 3 to 4 hours per item, adding it in, saving the images, and the actual coding.
Hmm... Like I said, I'm not a coder, but I thought the other system had a database that was coded to just copy the item and paste it in, check to be sure the color drop down bar worked and everything looked good in preview and then publish it. Much faster than hours per item. But again, I'm not a coder, so I could be mistaken.

Nevertheless, to set something up like this would take a tremendous amount of hours and there could be many more things that have a higher priority. Plus I realize that if I had never experienced a different system, I wouldn't be missing it right now.

To give you an idea of how visual I am, before the old site developed a preview system, I used photoshop to cut and paste clothes onto the avi to see what outfit I wanted to purchase and lurked in the background until I had the perfect one. That's not an option for me now as my Photoshop program was buried with my old dead hard drive. XD

Yikes. Have you seen the doctor yet? There can be a lot of reasons for that and there are creams and meds to help.

Hope you feel better today.
