Rogues look like fun characters to play though I've never played one myself. In our current game, one of my friends is playing a Beguiler, which is like a rogue with a little more magic. She does a lot of fun things with that character.

I've played a mage, ranger (that was fun), psychic warrior (she was powerful) and currently playing a dragon shaman, who is getting more powerful as I level up.
