I sit out in the new greenhouse with a cup of tea for myself and watch as madame buttercup flutters around. It's good to see that she can have her fill and just enjoy herself among all the flowers. Eventually, she lands on my hand and I am fairly certain that she 'licks' me. I bring her up carefully towards me, "Good evening lovely. I hope that you have had fun today while I was gone." She flaps her wings almost as though responding to me.
