Faye let out a sigh as she thought about what she should tell her brother. No way would he ever accept her being the bait. He was too protective over her, he was her brother after all. Even if they hadn't been in each other's lives, that didn't mean he loved her any less. Do we really need to involve my brother? Wouldn't our group right here be enough? She asked. She was nervous about what Micah would do to Isaac especially knowing that he was putting her in harms way even if it was Faye's idea.
The alphas all looked at each other and then they all nodded. "Yes, that seems to be our better option right now." One stated. "Well, even if there isn't, they will have to. But we have to do this with minimal people as possible. If he smells a lot of us, he might know what's happening or get an inkling that something's up." Greyson stated.
Arden thought about it. "I think Greyson is right. I think we should do it with as little people as possible. And what will worry me the most is if he knows that we are all alphas, that would also tip him off. I don't know if he does or doesn't so it's a chance we have to be willing to take. We will take our betas with us. Leave our third in command to run the packs while we are gone." Arden announced.
"What? What if an enemy finds out that our packs leaders are gone? We can't leave our members so vulnerable! Our third in command won't be enough!" Lark stated, very unpleased with the idea.
"What, you have no confidence in your third? He's still plenty stronger than the other pack members, otherwise, why do you have a third that can easily be taken down?" Arden questioned.
"That's not what I'm saying! I have confidence in him but he's only one person! He won't be able to help everyone in the pack if rogues attack!" He explained.
"Well, if everyone feels strongly about that, then it will just be us. The less people the better but also the less people, the more likely we won't win." The room went silent.
Seraphim nodded. "My pleasure. Do not worry about the dress though. If I had not wanted that dress to become ruined, I wouldn't have given it to you." She told Roselle. Being conscious of getting a dress dirty while in battle would be hard. She was fully expecting her to get it dirty and most likely even torn.
