Hmm, so they are not truly living, but maybe shadows of the originals. So they are probably not as strong either than, but can still be useful. Isaac was thinking of the different things that could be done with such an ability, he just hopes that Roselle doesn't try to draw them. And Lilith is notoriously powerful, so he might be thinking I'm as powerful, if not stronger, than her." I'm not going to let you risk yourself like that Faye, you have trouble seeing things, so you might have trouble fighting him. Not to mention that you're still newly turned, you don't know what your strengths are yet.
